I am spending the night in a Cave where there is another Lovely Aurora. The next day I plan to get back to the Long Bridge to get the Super Heavy Battery. I am planning to craft lead out of it. I need the Lead to craft Bullets in the Workshop. I am also running out of food, having lingered in Bleak Inlet for some time now. The oneTimberwolf left is hanging somewhere around the Cannery. If I kill him...will the other Wolves Respawn ??! I dont want to risk it. Set in the aftermath of a geomagnetic Disaster. Its a Thoughtful Survival Game. Wich means every Choice you make, can end up being Fatal for your Surviver. It was first Launched in 2014 as a Beta with the help of Kickstarter. The Producers are a small Gaming Company in Canada called Hinterland. There is a Wide Community over the Globe and the Game is available on PC, Xbox One and PS4 The Game offers a variety of Gameplay.. Imagine: The Lights go out, never to return. A Bright Aurora Flare across the sky, and all humanity's technological might is laid to waste, neutralized in a quiet apocalypse. Everything that has shielded humanity from the disinterested power of Mother Nature is suddenly wrenched from us, dropping us a few links down the food Chain. Food and Water are scarce. The roads are no longer Safe. And Winter approaches... There is : 1) Survival Mode (First Launched as Sandbox) - Diffrent difficulty Levels _Pilgrim - Easiest : Gives an unexperieced Player the chance to Explore the regions and Learn Survival Skills. _Voyageur/Stalker - Wildlife gets nastier,.. Food, water rations and means to survival get more scarce. _Interloper - You need all your skills to Survive and think ahead with every move you make.. Also be flexible. Change planning according to weather and other circumstances that are beyond your influence. _Custom : Toolbox Mode - You can adjust your own settings or put in a code. ----None of these have a save Sytem. When you die you have to start anew.---- ----(btw.The Game saves every time you sleep or enter/exit a door)------------------ 2) Wintermute : Episode 1, 2 and 3. Otherwise know as Story Mode. The first Episode came out in 2017. More Episodes will be coming. Storymode offers you a save system. If your caracter dies you wont have to start over. Its also a relatively easy way to step in for new Players. 3) Challenges: Hopeless Rescue / The Hunted - part 1 and 2 / Whiteout / Nomad / Archivist. ----4 Days of Night : A Yearly Halloween event called '4 days of Night' The game is in Halloween Mode with a diffrent Challenge every Day. Playing in the Dark collect Candy and Pie. You can also win Badges. ----Time Capsule - (Came out because of The Long Dark's 5th year anniversary) Via Steam you can enter a Code and play The Long Dark's earlier Versions.
