GeForce GTX 1050 Ti vs 2021 | Tales from the Scalper Pandemic
Benchmarking the Nvidia GTX 1050Ti 4GB graphics card against 10 popular games in 2021 on an average gaming PC. Back from the dead! Nvidia's Pascal-based Prince of Paupers, the mighty GTX 1050 Ti, is allegedly making its way back to store shelves to help fill the spaces left by an absence of current entry level and mid range graphics cards from AMD and Nvidia. Does this 2016 GPU make for a sensible purchase in 2021? FYI: I later discovered the issue with Warzone on the first test PC was down to my Windows pagefile. It had somehow got moved from the SSD to the HDD; given that the first test system has only 8GB of RAM, it's using that pagefile pretty frequently, and the slow hard drive was slowing that process way down. I suspect it might also explain the stutter in Valhalla.
