Testing upgrades to my free ANYCUBIC Chiron
Changed the hotend from a V5 to a V6 Volcano with a copper heat block, changed the fans, shroud and installed an EZABL contactless bed leveling system and this is my test. A better test would be a Benchy, but I wanted to make sure the bed leveling was working correctly, so I did a flat test for now. I've since printed other things and it's doing fine. This piece was actually taken from a coaster I made in LightBurn for my laser, so now I have a wooden and a plastic version. Someone on Craigslist was actually giving this monster printer away. After bringing it home, I discovered that the hotbed wouldn't heat, so then I discovered that the 230/115 switch was still set in the 230 range. I switched it to 115, put fresh filament in and it started working! I wanted to do away with the stock setup and perform some upgrades. I'm happy with it now.
