Send Image From Windows 8.1 Desktop On Laptop Over Wireless LAN To The Other Screen With Sound (DFS
A 2-program -- made using Win32 -- demo, showing video being played from a desktop transmitted using Wi-Fi over a local area network to a larger screen. The JPEG image is transmitted using TCP. The image displayed on the other screen is displayed frame by frame in real-time without buffering using Direct Frame Streaming (DFS) method. Published 2014. Coinciding with the first digital video coding, which was standardized by ITU-T (formerly CCITT) 30 years ago. No video file is saved to the other computer. Only the image being streamed, is sent, as well as the audio stream. Note: Sound volume is very low in this presentation. The transmission is a little bit slow compared to that of the player.
