How to choose the (right video card) 2014...
Today I tell you 4 tips on how to choose a good video card to buy for PC gaming. Game in the video is DC Universe Online... Other recommendations for video cards that use GDDR5 under $175.00: HD 6770 HD 6790 HD 6670 R7 250 R7 260 R7 260X HD 7750 HD 7770 HD 7790 GTX 650 GTX 650 ti GTX 650 Ti Boost GTX 750 GTX 750 Ti DON'T BUY ANY VIDEO CARD THAT USES (GDDR 3) MEMORY: It will not be strong enough to game on period... A lot of laptop PC's come with these GPU's that have deceptive GPU/CPU names like: GT 730M/i5 3230; which would suggest that the GPU is a nvidia GTX 700 series video card but it in fact uses GDDR3 (ALL DESK TOP GTX 700 series PCI Express video cards use GDDR5 memory). GDDR 3 is a big no no for PC gaming. And that CPU suggests it might be a DESK TOP Intel core i5 series with 4 physical cores (but it only has 2). (That is why research is so important guys!!!...) So you don't get Hood Winked by these companies trying to trick you into buying something that wont perform well while playing your favorite titles. Get off your a$$ A.K.A. the money train and educate yourself (enough) against these deceptive practices. Like using GDDR3 and using the word (gaming) in the description, STAY AWAY from these cheap laptop solutions that are near impossible to upgrade!!! Frankly, you wont be happy with the lag you WILL get while gaming... A good gaming laptop will normally run 1000-2800 dollars and will be more upgradable. A good desk top custom PC can be put together for 450-750 dollars and is (100%) upgradable while being able to just about play any gaming PC title. Now I ask ya, which would you rather pay??? Also I want to caution you guys on using Windows 8 Operating Systems as it is largely untested and has a lot of nitch glitches in many games... I still think Windows 7 should be the OS of choice for PC gaming...
