[NENG NOW]-HD:Among Wild Water Buffalo-31/03/2019 These buffalos are 91.67% wild! What does that mean? Well, simply put, they live 11 out of 12 months of the year in the mountains. They only see humans for the one month it takes to plow the fields. The reason these buffalos live in the mountains is because there is basically unlimited food there for them – as opposed to in villages, where owners must keep a supply of food. This makes labor much easier on a daily basis. But let me tell you – going to find the buffalo was no easy labor – it took over 6 hours! Besides the month of plowing, the only time buffalo spend in the villages are they first few years of life – living with the mother cow and under the supervision of its owners. Once the buffalo reach about 5 years old, they are put into the mountains. In talking to owners, it's said that this is the about age they are large enough to fend for themselves against any would be buffalo-snatchers. So if you're trekking through the mountains of Sapa (a popular activity here) don't try and touch any buffalos you run into – you might get a mouthful of horns like I nearly did in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDYVrFA0RzI&list=UU0RE7xi9inOnhvEyuNxFIyA Email.travelsapa1234@gmail.com tu khoa.travel_vietnam fb .https://www.facebook.com/nengnow/?ref=br_tf
