canon bjc-80 printer repair part 3: the print begins to flow...
I've been trying all sorts of ideas to get this neat little printer running, and I have now got it to print in black and blue, with no luck on red and yellow. (yet?) including using the boot codes for clearing the eeprom for waste ink errors and the like, but I also did a complete teardown and pulled the purge section apart to soak the pump, gears and pistons in isopropyl and clean what was a dreadful load of ink in places to should not be. getting the purge back together was a real nightmare, hence no video for that, but is will do a part4 with help on general disassembly.
