CPU will have the biggest performance increase. RAM and storage upgrades will help with faster loading times and less stuttering. The GPU upgrade should come last since you won't notice as much of a difference as you would upgrading other parts. Check out my Sample Builds link above for all the parts and prices or my Flow Chart, if you don't want to watch the video. * Processor (CPU) * If you're on an AM4 platform, you can update your bios and buy the 5800x3d If you are not on an AM4 platform, you have two options: 1. Upgrade your CPU to one with a larger cache size that your current motherboard supports (not recommended) or 2. Upgrade your CPU, RAM, and motherboard (recommended). This is the best option for the most performance. Try to get the 7800x3d or an intel 13th gen. The 7800x3d can compete with the 13900k for a much cheaper price, but its main purpose is for gaming. If you do lots of productivity tasks like rendering, editing, etc. you might want to get an intel 13th gen instead. Performance will still be great. * RAM * Try to get 32GB of high speed, low latency. If you are on an AM4 or older Intel platform, you are limited to DDR4. I'd go for 3600Mhz. You can go for 3200Mhz, but prices are similar, so you might as well get 3600Mhz. You need DDR5 ram if you upgrade to the 7800x3d or intel 13th gen. Technically, there are Intel 13th gen motherboards that support DDR4 ram, but if you're upgrading or buying these parts, you might as well future proof and go for DDR5. Get 32GB of at least 6000Mhz. If you get an amd cpu, make sure the ram says "EXPO" and if you get an intel cpu, make sure the ram says "XMP". This will make it so you don't have trouble setting the speed to 6000mhz and avoids long boot times. * Storage * Check your motherboard to see if it has an m.2 slot, then get an m.2 NVme SSD. If you don't have an m.2 slot on your motherboard, you can still get a regular SSD that uses SATA cables. * Graphics Card (GPU) * Upgrade this last. Any 30 series or 40 series card should work great. Try the 4070 or above since it has a decent amount of vram and tarkov uses up a lot. ** Building a New PC ** Check out my Sample Builds link above. It's basically the upgrading parts section plus all the missing components you need, like the cooler, case, motherboard, etc. * Time Stamps * 00:00 - Introduction 00:07 - What Parts Do I Upgrade? 00:44 - DDR4 Ram 00:56 - DDR5 Ram 01:10 - PC Part Picker to find compatible ram 01:34 - Storage 01:51 - Graphics Card 02:08 - Flow Chart 02:18 - Pyurologie
