[OUTDATED] "Workflow" of exporting FPS animation from Blender to Godot 4.0
I made a mistake in the video 5:46. The arm animation was saved in the weapon directory accidentally. :P My naming convention is "AnimName_WeaponName"; If the animation is for the weapon itself, a string "_weapon" is added at the end. Blender Plugin "Game Rig Tools" from " https://youtu.be/qwz9aPdVoFg " The FPS project made by the previous version of Godot4 crashed on the latest compiled version (Alpha 8 and above). So extra work hours or days needed to be invested in arranging the project. However, that is a "good chance" to reorganize those files :) 0:00 - At a glance at Godot4 project 0:33 - Export Animations from Blender 4:34 - Load animation to Animation Player 8:36 - At a glance at FPS Character Setup 12:44 - Launch the example level Credit: "Free FPS-Hand's" (https://skfb.ly/6SvTq) by Askasknot is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/b...). #godot #blender #godotengine #gamedev #devlog #programming
