The Cult Wines team have been in Bordeaux for the latest En Primeur (2017) tastings in what appears to be a fascinating vintage. Early impressions were of a vintage devastated by frosts that hit Bordeaux in late April 2017, the worst the region has witnessed in the last 25 years! James Molesworth, James Suckling and Jeff Leve have released some scores and offered a positive appraisal of the vintage. There is growing sentiment to suggest we are in for a pleasant surprise contrary to earlier reports.
