#Appril2 While home recovering, my Apple IIe Platinum arrived! My wife got to have all the fun of unboxing because I can’t lift anything, but she helped me get it set up and tested! This computer holds a special place in my heart, because in the fifth grade, my school got a bunch of them, and my computer teacher let me go to all the classrooms and put them all together and hook them up! I thought they were slight differences between the motherboards in the original Enhanced IIe and the Platinum IIe, but I could be wrong. This computer was the last of the Apple II line, with the first Apple II being released in 1997, and the IIe Platinum running all the way until 1993!
