Bebop on Küng Bass Recorder - "Donna Lee"
Hi! My name is Ashley. Welcome to my channel! :-) I purchased some new recorders, which to properly break in, I should only be playing for shortish amounts of time (at first). I thought, "What would be a fun AND interesting song to work on?" How about a beeboppy jazz standard like... I dunno... "Donna Lee?" What would it sound like on my bass recorder?! 😅 . Well, it was a bit more of a challenge than I anticipated, but it got me playing over the full range of the instrument. Them high notes definitely got a work out and the recorder is definitely broken in! 💪😉 Anyway, here is "Donna Lee" on BASS recorder (which I think sounds stinkin' cool).
