Rebekah Faith - Trisomy 18 - activating switch fan
Rebekah, 23 months with full trisomy 18, activating fan switch in speech therapy. Trisomy 18 is a condition where there is an extra 8th chromosome. The medical community considers trisomy 18 (Edward's Syndrome) and trisomy 13 (Patau's Syndrome) to be incompatible with life. But doctors don't know everything, and as parents fight for these kids, more and more of them are surviving and thriving. While Rebekah is clearly very delayed, she is most definitely compatible with life, love, and joy! We will never regret giving her the best life we possibly can. You can read more about Rebekah at http://buddzoo.blogspot.com. Video recorded 4/13/11.
