Command and Conquer: Red Alert 1 - Campaign: Guild Support, Intro, 1/2.
With the release of Command and Conquer: Remastered Collection earlier this year, two Staffordshire Wargaming Guild members go head-to-head in a series of battles that are defining their own "Red Alert" story, titled "Campaign: Guild Support". The aim is to create a narrative through each of their short battles that will eventually see 'homebrew' maps made to reflect the outcomes of these battles. The first couple of battles are setting the scene for the first part of the campaign. Background: It's the 1950s, set in a parallel universe, and something stirs in the East. Joseph Starlin's "Red Army" is fast becoming a world superpower. With the mysterious disappearance of Adolf Hitler in 1924, World War 2 as we know it, never happened, allowing Starlin to set his sights on conquering Western Europe for himself and uncontested, unbeknownst to the Allied powers, marking the beginnings of an alternate "Cold War". Western Europe, despite Hitler's disappearance, is still in turmoil. As tensions rise between the Allied nations, Germany lashes out by attacking Greece... Part 1 of 2.
