800tvl Camera Problems
Update - Surveilzone agreed that this camera must be "broken" and will send me a replacement. I'll update with a new video clip when that one arrives, be it good or bad! lol At least their support seems good enough. :) Just a quick clip to show Surveilzone the problems I've got with this camera. It's part# CC1504 (http://www.surveilzone.com/sony-1.3-mega-720p-cmos-sensor-800tvl-hd-camera-cc1504) Thread on FPVLAB here: http://fpvlab.com/forums/showthread.php?23454-800TVL-Sony-SKU-CC1504-who-s-using-it I think I might just have a bad camera, but if they're all this bad I won't be flying one... I don't like purple skies! lol Setting white balance to "AUTO-AI" helps the purple, but then it locks up and reboots when pointed towards the sun. Besides all that, to be honest it's not that clear/sharp either. Give me a good old PZ0420 any day! :p . _____________________________________ Support my channel and my efforts to bring you better content, every little bit helps! http://paypal.me/keithluneau Donations are never necessary but always appreciated, and always go directly back into the channel! . . https://www.patreon.com/bonafidepirate . Here's some affiliate links to the video gear I use from Ready Made R/C: 1.3GHz video transmitters (I use 200, 400, 800, and 1500mW on various planes) https://goo.gl/Mhq6TW I recommend this receiver to go with them. I use an older Racewood type they used to sell, but these are supposed to be at least as good with the same Comtech tuners in them. Apparently Racewood is no longer in business, so here's what replaced them: https://goo.gl/xC2RLx I use this 8dbi Patch Antenna, it has been my go-to antenna for a long time now, for years! lol I've been out more then 10 miles using one of these and the 800mW vtx listed above: https://goo.gl/hGmcNS On the transmitter side, the stock dipoles that come with them work pretty good together with that patch, but if you want slightly better performance and less weight/drag, consider these: https://goo.gl/CPuFGf __ Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/bonafidepirate You can help to support my channel by using the affiliate links below when making a purchase: Banggood - http://bit.ly/2uqsM2a eBay - http://ebay.to/2r7k3mb Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/shop/bonafidepirate Foxeer - http://www.foxeer.com/?u=499 You can also make a donation if you wish to do so at the following link: Support my channel and my efforts to bring you better content, every little bit helps! http://paypal.me/keithluneau Here's some affiliate links to the video gear I use from Ready Made R/C: 1.3GHz video transmitters (I use 200, 400, 800, and 1500mW on various planes) https://goo.gl/Mhq6TW I recommend this receiver to go with them.
