Let's Play Sorcerer King Rivals - Part 11 - Little Hope Remains!
Well, the Sorcerer King's forces are definitely superior to anything I can muster. It's not looking good, but maybe, just maybe I can spell bomb at the end and win the ascension race. Not sure if that will grant me the immediate win, but it's pretty much my only hope right now. It doesn't look good! I remember back when the original Sorcerer King was being teased prior to release. I was reading and watching everything about it, it looked amazing. Unfortunately, I never got around to playing it, and got busy(as I often do), with other things. Sorcerer King Rivals is a turn-based, fantasy 4X game. You must lead your people to battle the Sorcerer King, while building your civilization, crafting weapons and armor, researching spells, and questing to build up enough magical power so YOU can ascend to godhood. "Rivals" takes the world of Sorcerer King to the next level. Now, you can ascend to godhood yourself, instead of merely stopping the Sorcerer King from doing so. Additionally there are two new civilizations to play as, The Dwarves of the Frozen Realm, and the Undead of the Endless Night! There is also the addition of a triad of demigods roaming the land as well as a quest editor and the ability to share your quests and maps via Steamworks! For anyone who was a fan of the original, you will love this! A big thank you to Stardock Entertainment for multiple reasons. First: I've always enjoyed their products over the years, so it's been a pleasure to play their games. Second: When I was first starting off, I hadn't made much of a name for myself and as such, was under their radar for youtubers to cover their stuff. They actually contacted me and requested I cover this...it's a bit of validation for me! :) Third: Actually sending Sorcerer King Rivals my way and not only letting me play it, but showcase it here on the channel.
