BetaFPV ELRS 915MHz Micro TX Module | Unboxing & Review + Configurator + Lua-Script/OpenTX
This is my sixteenth RC video! In this video, I unbox BetaFPV's 500mW 915MHz ExpressLRS micro TX module and all of the accessories that you get in the box. I also go through the specifications of the device. In terms of firmware, I demonstrate how to install the ELRS configurator and I also show you how to update the firmware on you module or other ELRS device. The final demonstration in this video shows you how to use the Lua-script from the ELRS configurator for the module in order to control the micro TX module's settings within your OpenTX radio without using the built-in OLED screen on the module if you would like to do so. Hopefully this video was helpful and informative! If you have any questions, let me know in the comments below! ?Creator Message: Be sure to reference the chapters in the video if you would like to see different parts of the process that you might be interested in! ?Information: I received this micro TX module from Albert Kim who kindly picked me as a randomly selected giveaway winner on 02/03/2022 which was very awesome of him, thanks again! Given that I have an OpenTX radio (RadioMaster TX12), I decided to go through the process and demonstrate how to get all of the firmware working for both the module and the radio. ?Links to this ELRS module (Micro TX - JR Bay versions): - BetaFPV's Official Site (All versions available): https://betafpv.com/products/elrs-micro-tx-module?sca_ref=2000397.E1YlXOCGxH - Banggood (All versions available): https://usa.banggood.com/BETAFPV-ExpressLRS-ELRS-2_4GHz-868-or-915MHz-Up-To-500Hz-Rate-500mW-or-1W-Power-OLED-Screen-Micro-TX-Module-with-Cooling-Fan-RGB-LED-for-RC-Drone-p-1912251.html?warehouse=CN&ID=6307235&p=5F192050038753202007&custlinkid=1808538 - Amazon (915MHz & 2.4GHz @ 500mW): https://amzn.to/3wYYncP - Amazon (2.4GHz @ 1W): https://amzn.to/3NJ5ag5 - RaceDayQuads (915MHz): https://www.racedayquads.com/products/betafpv-elrs-micro-915mhz-rc-transmitter-module - RaceDayQuads (2.4GHz): https://www.racedayquads.com/products/betafpv-elrs-micro-2-4ghz-rc-transmitter-module - Pyrodrone (915MHz): https://pyrodrone.com/products/betafpv-elrs-micro-tx-module-915mhz - Pyrodrone (2.4GHz): https://pyrodrone.com/products/betafpv-elrs-micro-tx-module-2-4ghz ?Social Medias: -YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNF7... -Twitter- https://twitter.com/SnapperWamper -Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/wampersnapper/ -Fiverr - https://www.fiverr.com/wampersnapper ?Check out my last video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gorzYSKMb7g&t=850s ?(Currently as of this video being uploaded at 368 subscribers!) #RoadTo400 #filmoraunboxing @FilmoraWondershare #expresslrs ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapters: 00:00 Intro 00:18 Background Info 00:33 Unboxing 4:29 Transmitter/Model Setup 5:22 Powering-on Module 6:23 Specifications 8:24 Installing ELRS Configurator 9:36 Flashing/Updating Firmware 13:54 Lua Script/SD Card 15:46 Testing Module with OpenTX 17:48 New Menu & Final Thoughts 18:08 Outro
