Here is a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming DLC character in Mortal Kombat 9. None other than Freddy Krueger of Nightmare on Elm Street fame! He will be available to download on August 9th for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. This Freddy rocks two claws and appears to be based more on the 2010 Freddy reboot than the classic Robert Englund look. If previous downloadable characters are any indication, Freddy Krueger in Mortal Kombat will set you back 400 Microsoft points or $4.99 on the PlayStation Network. However if you've already bought the Season Pass for MK9, which is available for 1200 MS points on Xbox Live, then he will be a free download!
