Dual boot Chrome OS and Windows on the Surface Go 3
Create bootable Chrome OS image by following these guides: XDA Developers (go to Windows section) - https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-dual-boot-chromeos-with-linux-or-windows-on-almost-any-device.4394815/ Video guide - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OicSb2QpAVk&t=90s (make sure you skip the Linux subsystem installation part, just open up Windows Powershell on windows and type wsl --install on the command, after that follow the same guide till the part where it asks you to type dual boot, press 'Enter' instead to just create an image file) Download Rufus here: https://rufus.ie/en/ USB-C Dongle I'm using Lazada: https://invol.co/clfmja4 Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082LPFM1X/ The Surface Go 3 is a great small computer and we got a used one for just RM1000 (US$230), but given its slow hardware, running Windows might not be a great experience, which is why we decided to dual boot Chrome OS and Windows by running Chrome OS on a SD card, so here's a mini review of and how I dual boot Chrome OS and Windows.
