Susana Arias - Sailmaker: BERGHERS OF CALAIS

http://www.susanaariasarts.com I have a grouping that is called the Burghers of Calais. I had made all these little figures and they all of the sudden wanted to be together. It's weird. I think you spend so much time in the studio that the work sort of asks for things. It's really amazing and so I think that's where this work is at now. Now is the exciting part because now I'm just letting them do what they want to do and they're telling where they want to go and at some point they sort of stop talking and you're just making things. At that point it will be over.....
