Sony MZ-R2 - Using the Service Menu to adjust laser focus and read MiniDiscs again!
This old classic Sony MZ-R2 deserved to get working again! After a quick cleaning, it was still showing "DISC ERROR" so it looks like it was time to get into the Service Menu to adjust the laser settings. Internet research shows that a value of 90 seems like the upper limit to get these reading again.
