Squier Mini Fretless Bass Quick Demo

I bought this short-scale bass in late summer, 2022, using Fender's website. There was a sale listed for the Squier Mini Precision Bass. Shortly after trying out the bass out of the box, I saw a potential of making this bass fretless. I took this Mini bass to a local music store, as their guitar tech/luthier would make the conversion project. I also did some additional modifications to this Mini P-Bass. I loaded in some short-scale GHS pressure-wound strings. And I replaced the stock bridge with a Fender HiMass bridge. Everything else like the pickups and tuning keys are stock parts from the factory. I may have considerations in replacing the stock pickups, but overall, I'm satisfied with the sound results for now. In this video, I used a Dunlop MXR M-80 d.i. and a Boss OC-2 octave effects pedal. This was recorded at a gig on stage, which is why there's some echo in this video. Other than that, enjoy!
