DCS: Admiral Quality Tries the Wolf Pack Warbirds Server for the First Time*

(* with anyone else in there. I've popped in a few times before when it was empty or almost empty.) The Admiral tries out the Wolf Pack Warbids server, recommended by one of my all-time favorite YT channels, https://www.youtube.com/@GregsAirplanesandAutomobiles Here's his excellent DCS FW-190A8 video that inspired me to check this server out again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdkupNA5B4U After climbing my P-47 out of Maupertus up to 25,000 ft in my P-47, looking for some friendly B-17s I heard needed an escort, I see a call on the text-radio that there's a low-level Ju-88 raid going on at Bricquebec. I rig the Jug for fast dive and point my nose down to Bric to see if I can find them. After that, a surprise awaits me on roll-out from landing back at Maupertus. I even called my landing out on the radio and double-checked visually before landing! (Though, being a newbie in there, I'm not sure I used the correct radio channel for ATC. Anyway, it's just a game and that smash-up was entirely realistic, and therefore... fun! And nobody yelled at me for it, which probably isn't so realistic. ;) Will definitely fly in there some more soon but I'm not crazy about opposing AI fighters, which they have in there on both sides. (It's kind of a PvE/P server.) For bombers, yeah, that's the only choice we have currently in DCS, and AI is far better suited for their kind of behavior. If I wanted to dogfight AI fighters though I wouldn't be in a multi-player server, I'd be offline (which I almost never am, because I almost never do! LOL!)
