MAXXIS AGGRESSOR Mountain Bike Tire Upgrade and Test Ride
This was my first attempt at upgrading to wider tires on my Trek Marlin 6. The Marlin 6 came with 2.0 inch tires on the rear and 2.2 inch on the front. I'm attempting to upgrade to 2.4 inch on the rear and 2.5 on the front. I did check with my local bbn ike shop to be sure my rims could take the wider tires and was assured that they could. The upgrade went much better than I thought it would. No real issues. Next time maybe we will try a tubeless conversion. Be sure to COMMENT on how I did, good or bad.
