When I decided to sell all my gear and switch to Micro Four Thirds, it wasn't without an extreme amount of research. I was very careful to take advice from YouTubers who actually bought the cameras and used them for personal and commercial use. The Blackmagic isn't a "run around" camera by any means, but the form factor makes it much easier to use for personal projects, making movies and even vlogging. Once it arrived I realised my assumptions were correct. The camera, although quirky, blurs the lines between your typical DSLR/mirrorless camera and a cinema camera. It's affordable, easy to handle, VERY easy to use and has all the things you need as a content creator in terms of HDMI out and mic input etc. In short, you can 100% use this camera straight out the box as I have been doing for the first week of use, which includes a professional shoot where I used it on a tripod.
