I will also briefly talk about my buying experience of these two short scale basses. These basses are straight out of the box. No modifications. Only very minor setup tweaks. Both tuned to E standard with stock round wound strings. Both basses were recorded direct through a Line6 Pod Go, with the same GK800RB model settings. Level matched, but no EQ or compression added in post.
