How to perform MSIX Downgrades automatically using .appinstaller
Hi everyone, I'm Alex, and I hope you are having a great day. In a previous video, we looked at how to enable auto-updates in #MSIX without using the Microsoft Store. https://youtu.be/G5idWHuvtjk 💡If you remember correctly, to have #autoupdates outside of the #MicrosoftStore, an app installer file must be created, in which you can specify where your app is located and how the update process will occur. In the #appinstaller file, you can also have the ForceUpdateFromAnyVersion element. If this element is set as true, it will allow your application to update to a higher version but also downgrade to a previous version.
