This little device can function as a voice recorder, and a camcorder. This camera can rotated 180 degrees, so its pretty versatile. It has a clip, so you can mount it in your shirt pocket or your pants pocket as well. This camera does not come with a microSD card, so you have to purchase one. In this video, I am using a 32 GB microSD card, but you can use a 64 GB microSD card if you want to. The image quality is what you would expect for a camera at this price point. You can change the image quality setting to 720p or 1080p, but my default it is set at 1080p. When you record at 1080p, it does get very warm, and when you record at 720p the temps are less. As for the application for this device, you can use it in your car by mounting it on the car sun visor. It is a much cheaper and simpler solution compared to getting a car camera, and having someone do the wiring for the camera. You can use it as a body camera by mounting it on your shirt pocket. You can use it as a motion sensor camera in a room. This camera doesn't use a lot of power, so you can leave it on for a couple of hours.
