The Junkyard Nines - Breaking Even [2020]
#TheJunkyardNines #BreakingEven #Remixed #RocknRoll #RockandRoll The Junkyard Nines are an original rock band from Youngstown, OHIO USA. Our debut single, (April 2020) Breaking Even, a hooky Americana rock and roll track that speaks to every one of us living our lives, working hard, getting paid just to pay the bills then rinse and repeat. The music video shows J9 playing music and making memories at Ampreon Recorder. Like star I'm fading out but at least I'm living free A thousand scars inside my heart I won't let no one see Turn the car around in the dead of night and I walk up to your door Drove all this way just to hear you say "What'd you come back for?" There's a struggle within deep in this skin but who can tell I wear my heart like an open book at a rummage sale And maybe I need a reason or something to believe in There's gotta be little bit more to life than barely breaking even On a sleepless I still hear that factory whistle blow From the start of the day I'll carry that stone 'til my back is broke You're just a slave for your loyalty I learned that all for sure I have a lot some might say but I just want more As the years roll on I'm not as strong, man enough to admit defeat This hunger I had for living it don't taste as sweet And maybe I need a reason or something to believe in There's gotta be a little bit more to life than barely breaking even thejunkyardnines@gmail.com Facebook & Instagram: @thejunkyardnines Twitter: @thejunkyard9s The Junkyard Nines is: Ben Anderton: Vocals Brad Currie: Guitars Sean DeCiancio: Drums, percussion and background vocals Steve Dunch: Bass guitar Mike Underwood: Guitars Recorded at Ampreon Recorder in Youngstown OH Mastered at Cauliflower Audio in Cleveland OH All content created and owned by The Junkyard Nines, 2020
