Biologyzing a Granite Outcrop in the Desert (Mojave Desert)

I pulled over to a spot where I've camped in the past in the Mojave Desert and realized how many species I didn't recognize back then. Now that I'm a seasoned biologist, I used my skills to assess the condition of this particular granite outcropping system that rises out of a desert alluvium system.
