This is day five of formally working with past tense with my first year Spanish students. I am doing it naturally during our P.Q. time. Our job as language teachers is to provide students with enough comprehensible input, in a communicative environment, to allow their brains to start mapping and decoding the new language, at their own pace and in their very own individual ways.
