Exhibition "Décor" by Jean-Christophe Couet В основу выставки легли документальные серии фотографий, выполненные Жаном-Кристофом Куэ по заказу UNICEF, ООН и ОБСЕ в 2007–2010 годах. На черно-белых фотографиях, выполненных в технике ручной печати, перед зрителем разворачиваются фрагменты жизни стран, прошедших через трагические события. Название выставки отсылает к театральным и кинопостановкам. После того, как события происходят, реальность становится декорациями, а детали, выхваченные объективом фотографа, ― свидетельством. Via black-and-white hand-printed photographs, the viewer is presented with the fragments of life in the countries that have survived tragic events. The title of the exhibition refers to theatrical and cinematic performances. After the events pass, reality turns into décor, and the details, picked out by the photographer’s lens, turn into a testimony.
