Xiaomi being a company that has been at first when it came to providing great quality products at an affordable price, it does not disappoint with this speaker either. It has launched a number of unusual and interesting products in the accessory market, ranging from audio accessories to aluminium mouse pads. The Xiaomi Mini Square Box is a stereo speaker rather than just the mono cylindrical speaker they launched earlier but that's not all that it offers. Design It has a rectangular design form with aluminium metal chassis going around it. The chassis is chamfered which gives it a distinct look and a solid feel in the hands. Laser drilled ABS plastic grill fitted at the front and a flat back. Two rubber pads at the bottom act as grippers and absorb any excessive vibrations. Performance The speaker comes with blue-tooth 4.0 module that connects to any device within few seconds(very fast!). The Stereo capabilities of this speaker make it stand out in the crowded blue-tooth speaker market. It comes with 2x1.8W drivers which produce crisp and clear sound which produce a powerful bass. At a price of just 20$, this speaker can never disappoint you. It's beautiful design, great performance and a long lasting battery make it a worthy option to consider for a budget Bluetooth speaker. It's form factor makes it easy to carry and can easily fit in your backpack. Except for on-board audio controls and a missing microphone, i don't think there are any drawbacks to this speaker. Competing this speaker , there are a few 2x2w or even 2x3w speakers in the market but they 50-100% more and are much bigger and heavier.
