USS North Carolina Battleship World War II Tour Wilmington, North Carolina + Wake and Bake Donuts
On the Fourth of July we toured Battleship North Carolina. During World War II, NORTH CAROLINA participated in every major naval offensive in the Pacific area of operations and earned 15 battle stars. We took a self-guided tour features nine levels of living spaces, mess decks, gun turrets, powder storage, sick bay, and more. This is such one of the best things to do in WIlmington, North Carolina. After, we stop and try out the "Best Donuts in North Carolina" at Wake and Bake donuts then watch the 4th of July fireworks across from the U.S.S North Carolina!
