Akaso V50X Firmware 3.0 4K Test
Last of 3 videos showing the Akaso V50X firmware issues. In this video I had the camera set to 4K/30fps, EIS on, Auto ISO, and -2EV compensation. The main issue of stuttering caused by a variable frame rate that was so prominent at 2.7K/30fps is all but gone here, but the video editing program still did flag the file as a variable frame rate at a little bit over 30 fps. Overall the video quality and stabilization is not that bad. Again at this resolution trying to set the ISO to anything other than auto still resulted in an extremely overexposed and unusable picture. This will be my final video about the current 2022 Akaso V50X action camera and its firmware issues as I have returned two in a row to Amazon now and won't be trying a third. I still have my original V50X from 2020 which works great and I will continue to use though. Overall I am very disappointed that in the two years since purchasing my first V50X the quality has gone downhill big time. Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed the video.
