Jesse Palidofsky at Govans' Music Mondays

It features fabulous guests like WAMMIE award winning multi-reed wizard Seth Kibel and musicians who have toured with Loreena McKennitt, David Clayton-Thomas and Bruce Cockburn. Jesse has won numerous songwriting awards . His single "I Am An Immigrant" reached #1 song on the International Folk DJ charts and his reworking of "America the Beautiful: 2020" featuring Claire Lynch and Lea Gilmore has been viewed by 63,000 on YouTube . For decades Jesse has shared music for healing in hospitals, hospices, prisons, and in places of deep need for healing. He has led Music and Healing workshops at national conferences for the National Hospice and Palliative Organization, the Association of Professional Chaplains, and National Association of Catholic Chaplains as well as at Common Ground on the Hill and Common Ground on the Border. Jesse has taught beginning piano improvisation everywhere from Common Ground on the Hill to the Detroit House of Correction. Music Mondays is a program of Govans Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, MD.
