The Jehovah's Witness isn't Christianity - Here's Why

Jehovah's Witnesses believe Jesus is Michael the archangel, the highest created being. 2. Jehovah's Witnesses deny the deity of Jesus Christ. 3. Jehovah's Witnesses deny the Trinity 4. Jehovah's Witnesses deny the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, claiming it was a 'spiritual resurrection.' 5. Jehovah's Witnesses deny that Jesus died as the penalty for our committed sin, but that he instead died for our 'sin nature.' 6. Jehovah's Witnesses claim that the bible has been distorted, and that they have the only accurate translation. 7. Jehovah's Witnesses believe salvation is conditional and comes through 'an accurate knowledge of the truth' which involves intensive daily study, evangelism, and other works of righteousness. What Does the Bible Say? 1. Jesus Christ is the Eternal Son of God "Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, "Truly You are the Son of God." Matthew 14:33 2. Jesus Christ is God in the Flesh "In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1 3. God is One in Essence with Three Distinct Persons, "For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word(Jesus), and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one." 1 John 5:7 4. Jesus Resurrected Bodily "Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have." Luke 24:39 5. Jesus Died to Forgive ALL Sins "And you, being dead in your trespasses (sins)and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He (Jesus) has made alive together with Him, having forgiven all your trespasses" Colossians 2:13 6. The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction of righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17 7. Salvation comes by faith alone in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 Their Version of the Bible Jehovah's Witnesses claim that the church has corrupted the Bible over the centuries; thus, they have re-translated the Bible into what they call the New World Translation. The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society altered the text of the Bible to make it fit their false doctrine, rather than basing their doctrine on what the Bible actually teaches. The New World Translation has gone through numerous editions, as the Jehovah's Witnesses discover more and more Scriptures that contradict their doctrines. God sternly warns that the Bible is complete, unchangeable, and His inspired, revealed word: You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take anything from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. Deuteronomy. 4:2 "For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book: and if anyone takes away from the words of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." Revelation 22:18 Have the "Right" Jesus Jesus & the apostles warned about the dangers of false gospels & false teachers. Scripture is clear; a proper understanding of Jesus Christ is necessary for salvation: "But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed." Galatians 1:8 "Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him "2 John 9-10 Conclusion Jehovah's Witnesses practice an ancient heresy known as "Arianism." Founded in the 4th Century, Arians denied the deity of Christ and held that Jesus was created by God as the first act of creation, that Jesus was the crowning glory of all creation. Arianism, then, is the view that Jesus was a created being with divine attributes, but was not divine in and of Himself. After nearly a century of debate at various early church councils, the Christian church officially denounced Arianism as a false doctrine. Since that time, Arianism has never been accepted as a viable doctrine of the Christian faith.
