It will be exactly the same procedure for removing or replacing the Left and the Right Headlight. We demonstrated on a 2003 Mercedes ML320 Right Headlight. It will be the same for before and after the facelift from 1998 to 2005. All you are going to need is a 10mm socket and a ratchet in order to remove the headlight. You will not need any special tools. Be very carefully with the plastic cover because they are very fragile.
