The most recent CS2 release news together with the CS2 update were looking kinda.. weird. Those who have read the recent cs2 update notes notes will notice that the only thing Valve mentioned in the cs2 release notes on Thursday was a fix of a gap in geometry. Since there hasn't been any big cs2 update since November-December, and some say that there hasn't been any new content since September 27, 2023 (since CS2 was officially released to the public), leads people to believe that Valve is preparing something big. The "Thank you for reading" note at the end seems like the Source 2 developer team is having fun too. Judging by the fact that there's literally nothing else in the cs2 release notes, that the cs2 release notes were released on a Thursday instead of Tuesday, and that this is the first CS2 update in a very, very long while, it's safe to assume that CS2 is preparing something big coming soon. Perhaps a new cs2 case? New cs2 map? New cs2 skins? This cs2 release note seems to be a troll post from the developers in order to stir up some interaction from the community before providing something fresh and exciting, most likely never seen before.
