Alpine MRP-F300 Reviews : I purchased this amplifier to power a set of Alpine 6 X 9 (SPS 609's) speakers. My original plan was to have this amp power a sub-woofer along with the 6 X 9's. After making my connections to my head unit, speakers, and power supply, I discovered that a sub-woofer was really unnecessary for the type of sound I was trying to achieve. I was not interested in earth-shaking bass, but rather deep, rich bass to compliment the highs.
