Speed Painting 44: Street Fighter V

I remember when I was a little kid back home in Albania, I used to walk near a pool shop where on the corner used to be a Street Fighter arcade. I played with friends a lot, and I remember a full blown arcade shop several blocks away where I played Mortal Kombat as a 6+ year old. That was my introduction to the franchise as I've played it for some time. So this illustration has a little bit of sentimental value for me. I used the Ryu as a reference from an iconic SFV ads that I've seen around and added some characters behind him. This happens very rarely, but I mistimed how long it was going to take. Originally, I had planned to use black spots on 70-85% of each of the 6 other characters as a unique take from other design pieces I've seen, but for once in a very long time, I mismanaged how much time it would take to do it all. So I improvised. I imagine I will for the first time ever, go back to this speed painting and just work on the illustration to make another variation. I have a feeling that one will be pretty good.
