How to record your idevice on iOS 8.1.3

Sorry guys but you really can't record your device on iOS 8.1.2 or higher. I have tried to do it on my iPad air 2 but it does not work. I will immediately create a new video saying how to record your device on iOS 8.1.2 and higher but for no I am out.
