Chicken Haircut - Polish Chickens

Polish Chickens has lots of poofy feathers on the top of their head even females. This can block their vision. I trim my chicken's a bit like a chicken haircut. 1. Pick up chicken so they get used to being held. 2. Keep scissors parallel to the eye to avoid accidents 3. Go slow, if chicken fusses a lot put them down. 4. Don't trim too close to the skin, feathers have a bloodline at the base. 5. Don't trim too close to the skin as they can get sunburn from bald patches. 6. Trim every 4 months or so
