Tethering app: H Band 2.0 - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.timaimee.hband DESCRIPTION: I saw these watch bands with embedded earpieces about a year ago, but they looked so cheap and poorly built that I skipped bringing any in to show you. Well, they have grown up. When this V08 appeared with all the goodies of a modern fitness band including a nice, bright display, continuous heart rate and even blood pressure measurement, it seemed like this might be the one to try out this approach to bluetooth phone call tethering. Well I’m glad I did! This V08 has earned the coveted spot on my right arm as the device I have with me all the time. I absolutely love being able to pop out the innards of the rubber bracelet band holder and put the whole thing in my ear to automatically answer an incoming call. And the volume is great, the clarity is great, and the calls work better than speakerphone on my phone for both parties. I can also stream music, YouTube, or any other audio to the band/earphone any time I want. Just popping it out of the band housing automatically switches the phone to headphone audio and I am all set without even touching the phone. You can’t control any aspect of the audio from the earpiece. Touching the time display doesn’t raise or lower volume or change tracks. You can’t initiate a call or even tap to call back the last number dialed (which is optional on some of these combo bracelet/earphone units). You can, however, hang up a call when you are done other by putting the earpiece unit back into the bracelet housing. UPDATE: This is really cool! If you squeeze the bottom while it is in your ear for a long time - 5 seconds or so - you'll activate Siri (I think on iPhones) or Google (this I have tested) and you can ask your phone anything you would normally do with your voice assistant.
