After Effects CC 2020: Show & Hide Layer Controls This tutorial will show you how to show and hide layer controls or the bounding boxes/transform handles around an object when a layer is selected. Hiding the layer controls is sometimes helpful to make it less distracting, but sometimes they are helpful so you always know what layer is selected.
