There are useful features built in such as brightness, contrast and exposure adjust along with the very useful ability to adjust camera position incrementally through the settings. This allows you to ensure the whole frame is going to get captured for each exposure. The machine comes with an SD card for saving the footage but this will never need removed if you have the setup beside your pc or if you have a laptop. I have the usb cable permanently attached so its as simple as choosing USB from the settings and the captured footage is available on your pc. Like any digitising machine you will need software to crop the frame and alter the speed. You will need to slow the rate down by around 0.5 and you can also boost the colour and if it was a bad reel you can even stabilise the footage with most video editing programs. I have had great results with this machine and have a lot of feedback from customers thanking me for the accuracy of the capture. They have been able to relive their childhood memories thanks to the quality of this item.
