Yes, I had 5 different models and they all do that: from X5430 to X5472. Now when they are available in cut version and no socket modding is needed why shouuld standard gamer go for new, unefficien socket ... when Intel will probably change Socket few times more untill those CPU get unworthy to play newest games on.
