Flying over 105.56MW Perovo solar park
Сommissioned in 2011, the Ukraine's 105.56 MW Perovo Solar Power Station was, as of mid-2012, the world's largest utility-scale photovoltaic solar (solar PV) power plant. Built in only 7 months, it is estimated that Perovo's more than 450,000 crystalline solar PV modules will produce as much as 138,700 MWh of clean, renewable electrical energy per year; enough to meet the needs of Simferopol, the nearby capital of Crimea. More than 109,000 tons of carbon emissions will be avoided annually as a result of power generated by this plant.
