PART 3: AEROSOL IN PHACO STELLARIS WITH MODEL EYE
This video illustrates the ability of maintaining a potentially aerosol free environment with a small incision and very little leakage from the cornea wound during phacoemulsification. Aerosol was generated when phacoemulsfication continued when the phaco tip was removed. This does not normally happen in surgery but it does show that if wound construction is poor or leaky, aerosol may be generated as seen in another video in this series.
