Magnetic Oxygen
Oxygen molecules have two unpaired electrons which renders molecular oxygen paramagnetic. This paramagnetism can be demonstrated with liquefied oxygen which is attracted towards strong magnets. The spins of these unpaired electrons have three possible spin states. Two of these cancel out and one results in paramagnetism.
